Layal Idriss is a Visual Storyteller and Entrepreneur and Educator, with more than 50 books and products under her belt. She is a leader in the field of children’s publishing in the MENA region. Layal is the co-founder and creative director of Dar Waraqa and Radish House. 

 

Layal earned her MFA from California State Univerisity and was recently nominated and join the Georgetown Univeristy WIN Fellowship program. Layal and her companies are working on amazing project s with respected clients both in Saudi Arabia and Globally

 

Driven by passion and more than a decade of experience practicing, teaching and consulting, she is working towards elevating the kidlit market in Saudi Arabia and sharing her knowledge through workshops, lectures and talks.
